Sitting on the patio of Gertie's Getaway you'll experience mountain views, crisp clean air, and the occasional grazing deer. Almost 1600 sq. ft with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, well equipped kitchen, fast wifi, smart TVs, additional TV room, and a private balcony off the master bedroom. Nestled on a quiet corner of Whispering Bluff Condos, Gertie's Getaway is convenient to the Links Golf Course, downtown village of Ruidoso, a short drive to Ski Apache and Inn of the Mountain Gods and more.

Good to know

Gertie's Getaway has an adorable coffee bar with Duo Keurig allowing for both K-pods and a pot of coffee, French press, electric water kettle, and we'll start you off with your morning coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The kitchen is equipped with electric griddle, crock pot, pro quality pots and pans, spices, cooking oils, and more. There's an outdoor gas grill on the patio, gas fireplace in the living room, and smart TVs. We even created a small tv room if you need a place for guests to go while the others want to socialize downstairs. We also have a pack n play for young children and a tension gate for the bottom of the stairs. Please note that all bedrooms are upstairs and there is no child gate at the top of the stairs. The gate may be used in a door frame upstairs but will not secure on the top of stairs.

Other Details to Note

Condo association does not allow fire pits, flame patio heaters, or hot tubs on the property. There is a gas grill on the patio for cooking. Candles are not allowed due to fire hazard. There is a Ring Security Floodlight camera on the front porch and parking side to illuminate the driveway and porch.

House Rules

Guests required to sign Rental Agreement with listed House Rules. No Smoking on or in the property. No Pets Allowed. Only registered guests may stay on the property. No parties allowed. Quiet hours 9 pm-7 am per condo association rules and courtesy of our neighbors. There is one designated parking space, however, two cars will be easily accommodated. If additional parking needed, it is doable, however, please contact host. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please notify host if a late check out is needed. Ability to check out late will be determined by host. ** Overstay fees my incur if guest doesn't check out by stated checkout time. Host may charge overstay fees of up to 2 times the average night rate plus applicable guest fees, taxes and legal expenses occurred to have guests vacated if not checked out by designated time.

Accessibility

Neighborhood

Gertie's Getaway is one block away from the 2.9 mile walking path of the Links of Sierra Blanca Golf Course. If you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of the Wild Horses of Lincoln County. These horses have never been corralled or "owned" and roam freely in the village. It's a sight to behold.

Guest Access

Condo unit is the end unit with parking next to the unit. Guests have access to the entire unit with exception of the storage lock-out/owners closet.

Catherine was so proactive. I was surprised she has videos on how to check in , turning on the fire place and even sent a bunch of pictures to correctly identify the property. The map drawing to spot the property was spot on. Really impressed. The house was sooo warm and welcoming. I felt as if I always lived there. My nephew loved the cow and moose stuffed animals and walking around with it. Catherine even extended our checkout as we got to the cabin very late in the night.

Great stay! Had a wonderful valentines gate away here with some friends, the place was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Catherine is very responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommended!

The condo was amazing so clean and beds are so comfortable. Everything you need to cook at anytime and it’s so cozy u feel right at home. Catherine was so good at communicating with us and very polite. Myself and my kids were so happy we stayed there. I look forward to coming back to her place soon.

No pudimos elegir un mejor lugar para nuestras vacaciones. Esta cabaña captura la esencia de Ruidoso. La cocina estaba totalmente equipada para nuestras cenas familiares y la terraza es el lugar soñado. La ubicación es excelente para disfrutar del silencio absoluto del bosque. Un 10 de 10 en limpieza y hospitalidad.
